| Those that appreciate a beautiful CJ are getting fewer and further between, that's why it was a joy to build one for someone who really likes these vintage Jeeps
We started with a pretty nice Jeep and made it nicer
First thing was to upgrade the underside: new Pro comp shocks, painted frame and axles and SS braided brakelines as well as stainless steel brake hardlines
Add some CJ Rubicon Express Sway bar disconnects and new brakes all around too
A high capacity fuel tank, new sending unit and all new fuel lines were a no brainer at this point. Every bracket and skid was either painted or powdercoated for a very clean finished look.
| To add to this Jeep capabilities a front winch bumper was installed. This is a Rugged Ridge bumper system starting with the center bumper and adding the sides and the winch hoop. The Warn 8000 is retrofitted with a Rugged Ridge 11/32" synthetic winch line and a Searchers 4wd solenoid mount.
The headlights were changed out in favor for some high intensity Delta lights.
In the interior, every seal, gasket, and guide was replaced. The dash was repainted and every gauge replaced. Some of the original CJ components made it back into the Jeep like the original grab handle and steering wheel. The seats were replaced and even the windshield is new.
The hardtop was stripped and sanded down to near glass finish, painted three times and reassembled. All new gaskets and locking door hardware was replaced too.
| Replica Laredo decals were painstakingly installed as well as some upgraded taillights. The spare tire rides on a Warn CJ bumper and tire carrier.
| The only thing missing is an upgraded powerplant so a Chevy 300hp 350 was called in to servive. Serpentine belt, MSD ignition, dual 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers, Advance Adapters aluminum radiator and other AA adapters all made this a very nice set-up.

| The final rendition turned out spectacular...IMO
